 Pour Point Depressants (PPD)
Paraffin compounds in lubricants form wax crystals which agglomerate and gell the lubricant at lower ambient temperatures. To maintain proper flow of the lubricant engine oils, transmission oils, gear oils and other lubricants contain PPD as part of their formulation. KUSA offers a range of PPDs to meet the most demanding of requirements. As a responsible and environmental conscious company we have also developed a fully biodegradable PPD.

Viscosity Index Improvers (VII)
Viscosity Index Improvers are high molecular weight polymers that improve the viscosity index of oil. They are added to the lubricants as part of the formulation to reduce the variation of oils viscosity with temperature.
KUSAs polymethacrylate (PMA) based range of VI help in controlling the viscosity and meeting the Shear stability index (SSI) for that particular application.
